Group of organs which are specialised for removal of excretory products.
Lungs — Carbon Dioxide by Aerobic Respiration during Exhalation / Expiration.
Kidneys — Excess Water, Salts, Urea through formation of Urine.
Removal of the waste substances of metabolic reactions (the chemical reactions that take place inside cells), toxic materials and substances in excess of requirements.
| Kidney | Two bean-shaped organs that filter the blood |
|---|---|
| Ureter | Tube connecting the kidney to the bladder |
| Bladder | Organ that stores urine (excess water, salts and urea) as it is produced by the kidney |
| Urethra | Tube that connects the bladder to the exterior; where urine is released |
Kidney regulates water content of the blood, and excrete toxic waste products of metabolism substances in excess of requirement. Examples: Urea and Salts.

Ignore Calyces, Renal Corpuscle, Proximal and Distal Convoluted Tubule.
Each kidney contains around a million tiny structured called nephrons.
They start in the Renal Cortex and loops down into the Medulla and back up to the Cortex.
The processes in the Nephron goes through the main components of Renal / Bowman’s Capsule, The Loop of Henle, and The Collecting Dust.
