— Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) are used to specify location of web pages.

URL is a unique identifier for a webpage, known as the website address.

World Wide Web

Domain Name. (WWW)

Simply the web, is a collection of websites and web pages that are accessed using the internet.

Consists of interconnected documents and multimedia files stored on web servers.

Hypertext Transfer Protocol

Network Protocol. (HTTP)

Protocols, rules governing communication between devices on network for website viewing.

Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS)

Works same way as HTTP but with added layer of security.

Protects sensitive information such as passwords, personal data, et al.
